Enjoy quiet beauty in one of the most luxurious condos in all of Mammoth Lakes! Located on the Sierra Star Golf Course, this Solstice garden suite boasts amenities that are truly second to none. Built in 2006, this 1,100 square foot end unit is nestled in the forest along the 16th fairway. Complex amenities include, a secure underground parking garage and Jacuzzi. Centrally located, this unit is just a 3 minute walk to the shuttle stop (#49), and less than 1 mile to the Village or Eagle Lodge in the other direction. Groceries, pharmacy and restaurants are just minutes by car. Whether you are here to ski, snow board, golf, hike, fish, cycle or 'chill out' this is the place for you any time of year.

  • Fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops, GE  Profile appliances, many small appliances, glassware, cook ware, silverware and utensils plus a breakfast bar with stool seating.
  • Dining room with table that seats up to 8 people comfortably.

  • Maximum occupancy is 7 people. This is a mixture of adults and children NOT 7 adults. Please not all on one bed!

  • There are about 16 stairs to get to this unit. Their are no stairs inside the unit.
  • Stay 6 nights and the 7th is free (mid week rate)!

About the owners:

Peggy and Dan are empty nesters that have grown weary of the surf crowds and congested freeways of San Diego! We fell in love with Mammoth Lakes when close friends nodded and prodded us to ski with them at Mammoth Mountain. What a gem of a Mountain! We are now seriously addicted! We are also avid hikers and look forward to learning how to fly fish. We yearn for our retirement years (maybe starting in 2020) so that we can live part-time in Mammoth. Until then, 'Mi Casa es su casa'. We hope you enjoy your stay and welcome your comments and suggestions to help make your future visits even better.

Wonderful Solstice Condo
Been to three different Soltice units here in Mammoth. This was our favorite one. Well stocked. Plenty of room for our family of four. Great location. The only issue that we had was some stranger took one of our 2 parking spots the last day. Asked if the neighbor parked there, but that was not the case. Sent a text to the manager after hours. Not really much they could have done I suppose. But made it a hassle for family to visit as there is no general parking for anyone else after 6 pm.

The Solstic property met our expectations and was very clean. We had a couple of problems but we found that the Mammothrentalbyowner staff was very responsive and helpful.

My wife and I loved staying at this property. We had our 13 year old son with us and he was totally happy with the second bedroom layout. We brought his PS3 and plugged it into his TV and he was a happy camper the whole trip. The property is a nice quiet end unit with awesome views of the forest and golf course throughout most of the unit. I have stayed in many rental properties in Mammoth and it was refreshing to stay in a newer unit with new amenities. The unit has it's own washer and dryer which comes in handy during the summer months. The owners have done a great job decorating this unit and we enjoyed watching a movie every night on the large flat screen TV in the living room. I read the other reviews prior to our stay and I was concerned about the hot water. We get pretty dusty during the day with mountain biking and hiking and I was concerned about the lack of hot water. But I am pleased to tell everyone that we never experienced any troubles with hot water. Our showers were always hot. I was pleased to read the owner's comments that they plan to remove the foam topper from the master bed. I'm 6' 2' tall and I struggled to get in bed without clobbering my wife. We laughed every night as we climbed into bed. A new mattress minus the topper is a great idea. While we were there, everything worked great. I thought the owners did a great job outlining everything prior to our visit. The unit was very clean, cozy and comfortable during out visit and I highly recommend this unit to other families like mine. We love mountain biking and hiking and Mammoth never disappoints. My wife and I rented kayaks at Lake Mary one day and this was very enjoyable for both of us. The only bummer while we were in Mammoth was that there was a wildfire about 25 miles away that made things very smoky. But no one can control Mother Nature and we didn't let the smoke ruin our visit. Overall, our trip was very relaxing with plenty of adventure and lots of good eating. If you want to try something new, I highly recommend a restaurant in June Lake called the 'Eagle's Landing' at the Double Eagle Resort in June Lake. This spa/resort has awesome views and the food was excellent. If all goes well, we hope to stay at Solstice again next summer.

Just wanted to let you know of our great experience renting one of your units. From the start your staff was very helpful in answering all my questions promptly and providing information on the unit as well as Mammoth at Christmastime:) All those I dealt with were courteous, professional and made me feel they cared about our experience.  I would definitely rent from you again! As for the unit, what can I say... beautiful! Just perfect for a Christmastime getaway. Dan and Peggy have decorated it to feel very warm and cozy and homelike. Thanks for the mini Christmas tree!  Unit # was very well equipped and made cooking and eating in quite easy and enjoyable which was handy considering all the snow we got! 6 ft in 6 days... I know you didn't have a hand in that but that was AMAZING! We also loved the unit itself for its privacy which was great for our dog who could easily go outside and romp in the snow! Loved it and would love to return... Thank you for your great service and to Dan and Peggy for sharing their beautiful unit!

We had a spectacular tine on our vacation. The condo is amazing and we loved everything about the week we spent in your home away from home. We are Mammoth regulars but this trip was extra special since we were celebrating my husbands 50th. He is an avid fisherman and the fishing was absolutely incredible this week. We were so thrilled to bring our two Australian Shepards, Max and Cleo. They felt right at home as we did. Thank you again for the week and the memories we have from our great week.
